I have no single picture that could capture the wonder of the tombs, but this ticket stub gives you an idea. The tombs of the Kings and Queens would have been filled with gold statues and other beautiful things if they hadn't been removed to museums or sold off by theives. The pictures on the walls were mostly relating to the stages and rites of passage of passing into the underworld.

In contrast, the walls of the tombs of the nobles were decorated mostly with scenes from everyday life, such as the pressing of wine or the harvest. I remember one tomb in particular whose ceiling was decorated like the starry sky and with vines appearing to grow up the walls. These were as vivid and preserved than the tombs of the Kings and Queens, if not more so.
